Wiki homepage

Welcome to the class wiki for MAG 409: Making a Magazine, a magazine-editing course taught by Mark Obbie to students in the Newhouse School’s Magazine Journalism major.

This wiki is for students enrolled in the course (offered in spring semesters). Use your Syracuse University NetID to post and edit content. See the class’ Editing Handbook on Blackboard for instructions on using the wiki. Once the spring 2012 class begins, this site will begin filling up with magazine production copy.

Every good magazine launch story gets told in social media. So here we will link to our launch-related sites and feeds.

Every story in each magazine gets its own page on the wiki, which you then edit with updated files. This top page should link only to the departments and sections of the magazine. Those pages, in turn, link to the story pages.
